Sierra College Natural History Museum

In this edition of The Journal of the Sierra College Natural History Museum, we offer a directory of more than a hundred museums and cultural resources spread throughout the Sierra Nevada.

But, understandably, we are especially partial to one museum in particular—our own Sierra College Natural History Museum on the Sierra College Rocklin campus.

Founded in the early 1960s by Sierra College zoology professor Dr. Raymond Underhill, the museum has grown to become a preeminent natural history resource for our community and region.

In previous editions of this eJournal we have examined the history of the Sierra College Natural History Museum (Volume 1, Number 1) and the story of field studies offered through the Museum (Volume 4, Number 1).; In this museum directory edition, we present an audiovisual inventory of our fascinating and valuable institution.
