The Museum/Historical Complex is located at the top of School Street in Markleeville.

The Alpine County Historical Complex is open seasonally, from Memorial Day weekend through the end of October.

The Historical Complex houses exhibits that highlight Alpine County history. Features of the complex include:

Grover Hot Springs State Park is located on the east side of the Sierra at the edge of the Great Basin Province, characterized by open pine forest and sagebrush. The park has a hot springs, a campground, picnic area and hiking trails.
